Ticket:
Within the 1000 Island Lake Scenic Area, one ticket is for all the spots. After buying one ticket, you can visit all the scenic spots in the lake area. However, the ship, yacht, and the cable car shall be paid additionally.
Ticket price during off season and busy season is different: from March 1st to November 30th, the price is RMB 120/person; from December 1st to the end of next February is 100/person.

Tourist Center:
The tourist center of 1000 Island Lake is located in the western traveling wharf of the 1000 Island Lake town. It is a huge service center that provides Information, Ticketing, Sightseeing, Parking, Embarkation, Catering, and Tour Guide Reservation, etc. Tourists can take ships or yachts to go to the center of the lake area.

Climate /Temperature:
1000 Island Lake is located in the north of Sub-tropic Monsoon Climate area. Due to the wide coverage of forest, as well as the accommodation function of the lake water, climate here is warm and wet and it differs dramatically in four seasons. The annual average temperature is 17℃; Annual and daily range of temperature is minor; annual average precipitation is 1430mm with about 155 rainy days.

Dress:
The four seasons in 1000 Island Lake differs a lot. The most pleasant seasons for visit are spring and autumn. Several light sweaters and a coat is enough. Summer is hot here. Sun cream, sunproof umbrella, and sunproof cap is suggested. Clothing shall be comfortable and light. The climate in autumn is dry. It is windy in morning and dusk; corresponding wears shall be prepared. Dress for winter must be warm. Beside sweaters, a thick coat or feather down clothing is suggested.
When walking through the island, a pair of shoes with low heels would be better.

Transportation:
The major transportations in the town of 1000 Island Lake are bus and taxi. For the transportation in the lake, we have ships, yacht and luxury cruise for your choice. Walk is the best way on the island. In Meifeng Island and Huangshanjian Island, cable car is available.

No Smoking:
1000 Island Lake Scenic Area is a national forest park and no smoking is allowed. You can smoke in the indicated smoking area. Do not drop the cigarette-ends casually to avoid fire risk.

Security:
Good social order and complete laws are guaranteed in 1000 Island Lake town. Crimes are rarely seen here. People here live a happy and rich life. As traditional Chinese people, they are hospitable to guests. Police station is set, electric monitoring system is installed. Tourists can enjoy a happy yet safe travel.
The water of 1000 Island Lake is deep, the topography below the water is complicated, and the temperature is low. You can have fun with the water on the ship or yacht. Swimming in the lake is forbidden. You can swim in the swimming pool or in the hotel.
